Premier Mark McGowan says Western Australia will open up its borders when 90 per cent of the state’s population aged above 12 years old is fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Mr McGowan says this could be achieved in late January or early February.

He did not set a specific date but says a date will be announced when the vaccination rate reaches 80 per cent.
