HOW TO MAKE YOUR HOME SMELL FRESH & INVITING || EASY DIY'S AIR FRESHENERS

Hey hey lovelies!
Today I’m sharing my easy and quick tips to freshen up your home.. especially when you have unexpected company! These tips are things I do regularly and are so helpful keeping our home smelling clean and inviting!

ESSENTIAL OIL DIFFUSER:

DOWNY ROOM FRESHENER
1/4 cup of Downy beads
4 tablespoons of baking soda
1 cup of boiling water
Empty spray bottle

Directions:
Put the beads into a bowl with the baking soda and pour the boiling water over it. Stir the mixture and allow it to stand for 30 minutes or longer, allowing the beads to fully dissolve.
ESSENTIAL OIL LINEN SPRAY
* 30 Drops of Essential Oils … (Lemon & Lavender)
* 3 oz. Rubbing Alcohol or Vodka
* 1.5 cups Distilled Water
* Spray Bottle
* Funnel (or mix in a glass measuring cup for easy pouring)
Directions:
1. Mix 3o drops of essential oils to 3 oz. of rubbing alcohol or Vodka into a glass. (Either will work.) I used 15 drops of lemon oil and 15 drops of lavender oil.
2. Add 1.5 cups of distilled water to the mixture.
3. Pour into a spray bottle.
BAKING SODA AIR FRESHENER
* small mason jars 
* baking soda
* essential oil – your favorite scent
* cupcake holder
* toothpick
Directions:
Fill the jar with approximately 1/2 cup of baking soda.

Add 5-10 drops of your favorite essential oil to the baking soda.

Place the paper on your jar and screw the lid ring in place.   Do not use the metal insert from the jar.

Shake the jar gently to mix the oil and baking soda.

Use a needle or small trim nail to poke holes in the paper so the scent can fill the room and the baking soda can absorb the not so pleasant smells.
