Sensory Integration Activities for reduce hyperactive & Attention problem | Help 4 Special

Sensory integration is the process by which we receive information through our senses, organize this information, and use it to participate in everyday activities. An example of sensory integration is: Baby smelling food as they bring it to their mouth. Tasting the food. Feeling the texture of the food.
Sensory integration therapy is essentially a form of occupational therapy, and it is generally offered by specially trained occupational therapists. It involves specific sensory activities to help a child appropriately respond to light, sound, touch, smells, and other input.
Trampolines, rocking horses, swings, roundabouts or slides are all good vestibular sensory integration activities. Here are a few vestibular exercises you can try in the classroom, as well! A child who is gravitationally insecure may fear movement and avoid escalators, elevators and playground apparatus.
symptoms of sensory processing disorder:-
-Think clothing feels too scratchy or itchy.
-Think lights seem too bright.
-Think sounds seem too loud.
-Think soft touches feel too hard.
-Experience food textures make them gag.
-Have poor balance or seem clumsy.
-Are afraid to play on the swings.
A collection of sensory play ideas and activities to do with kids and toddlers to promote learning and development. Messy play is important for young children, giving them endless ways to develop and learn. All types of play are essential for children’s development and early learning. Play helps children to develop and improve their gross and fine motor skills, co-ordination and concentration. Also how to work cooperatively and collaboratively, use all their senses to discover and explore their environment, and develop their imagination, creative thinking and ability to problem solve and experiment with solutions.
