White Oak Manhattan Murphy Bed

The Manhattan Murphy bed is characterized by two panel face. We built this one using White Oak wood with a Classic Gray stain by Minwax.

Some of the extras on this is the side bookcases (both 18" and 24"). We also have an upper bookcase (18"h). The desk is one of our favorite feature. It stays level as you pull down the bed. We also added drawers on top of the desk.

We have plenty of pullouts. There are drink trays on both sides that double as work surface extensions. We also have printer pullouts behind the doors. Not shown in the video but added were charging station both under the bed and inside the bookcases or side cabinets.

The wood selected by the customer is a Riff Cut White Oak. It is a real straight grain cut of the oak similar to quarter sawn but even more consistent.
