Then Hollywood made it worse.
Universal loaded the hero car with time circuit displays, flux capacitor lighting rigs, and dozens of additional prop components — all drawing power from the same fragile stock DMC-12 wiring.
Shoots stopped constantly. Technicians rewired connections between every take. Eventually the production bypassed the original electronics entirely just to keep filming.
The car literally couldn't power itself through its own movie. The most famous vehicle in cinema history kept breaking down on the job.
