3 Reasons I Never Have My Clients Relive Their Traumatic Experiences

The idea that in order to heal trauma or PTSD you have to re-live it is a therapeutic myth which has been around for over one hundred years. Too often therapy will be based on the belief that many traumas are hidden and blocked by the conscious mind, and need to be uncovered and re-lived in order to be healed.

I'll explain what is wrong with this belief in this video, and I give you three reasons why I never get a client to directly relive their traumatic experiences.
