The Commercial Electric 1002 748 378 provides users with three different size winged wire connectors that should accommodate most residential wiring needs. Know by a variety of different names, marrette, screw-terminals, wire connector, cone connector, wire nut, twist-on connector and more, these winged connectors include ribbed sides for easy gripping along with wings to allow for easier tightening of connection. The purpose of the Commercial Electric winged wire connectors is to ensure the bonding of two or more wire. The packaging includes a color guide explaining the best number or wires and gauges that can be used for each colored connector. On the back are instructions on how to properly strip and make the proper connection using these wire nuts.
