Mint Decavitator Gameplay #4 - Splatoon 3 | Anarchy Battle (TC)

Gameplay of Mint Decavitator on tower control. It's been a quite a while since I've last used this weapon, so I wanted to give it another shot. Thanks to @millsers.mp3 for requesting this weapon. Decavitator is a mid range weapon that does great damage, good paint output, good mobility, great object damage, low DPS, wide attack, and can one shot opponents. And the kit is pretty good. Suction bomb is a sub weapon that will stick onto any surface when thrown and then will shortly explode. And big bubbler is a special weapon that allow you to deploy a device that create a big spherical barrier. The barrier can tank enemy's shots, subs or even some special and in the middle of the barrier, there's a squid beakon that allow you and your teammate to jump to the bubbler. Now I want to talk about the strength and weakness about this weapon and it's kit. The weapon is great at quickly applying pressure due to it's mobility and burst damage. The damage it deals is great for comboing with other weapon and the charge slash covers a wide area and can one shot opponents up close. And the weapons paint quite wells, but it's DPS is quite slow and it's quite ink hungry. The weapon also gets outranged by long and some mid range weapon and isn't super good at dealing damage over ledges because it can only do horizontal slashes. Also keep in mind that the charge slash travels quite far, but it's still a huge commitment since you can be heavily punish if you approach badly. Suction bomb is good for displacing opponent from a good distance. Compare to a splat bomb, the explosion is slightly more bigger, but it takes a little more time to explode. And with the ability to stick onto any surface, you can also get some cheeky kills. But the sub is pretty expensive to use and the slower explosion time can make it a bit more easier to avoid. And big bubbler is great for staling out pushes and securing an area. The bubbler can tank a ton of damage and it stays up for so long. Once deploy, you can still use your main weapon and sub to further secure the area. There's also a beakon in the middle of the base that provides a jumping point for you can your teammates. But the barrier will deplete the more it gets damages. It depletes even more if you hit the generator on top of the barrier. And although the barrier will block enemies fire, enemies can still go through the barrier, making you susceptible to being flank or shark by opponents. There's also some specials that can shred the barrier quite well or breach through the barrier. So when playing Mint Decavitator, you want to focus on apply some aggro pressure. Utilizes cover and try to flank or shark your opponents to close the distance and apply pressure. Throw some suction bombs to displace opponents from a distance and once you have your special ready, try to place it in a good position to tanks and distract opponents.
