Watch Starship SN8's Historic Launch With 6 Cam Replay Thermal Imaging And Slow-Mo

SpaceX Boca Chica, Texas makes history with its first full Starship SN8. Six views from South Padre Island and Boca Chica capture spectacular views including thermal imaging that shows a tremendous mushroom cloud that engulfs the entire launch area after the Starship SN8 test vehicle detonated on impact. At 5:38 you can see the explosion ejected debris in some instances so fast that they were almost not captured by camera. The slow-mo shows the extreme velocity of the debris even at 25% speed. The launch appeared to go flawless with a fascinating climb and jaw dropping belly flop. The decent also seemed to go very well but a failed raptor and loss of power in the end was the demise of SN8. Elon Musk and SpaceX have accomplished the unimaginable in so little time. Go SpaceX! Mars here we come!
