The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) in the past few years has opened up many new opportunities for organizations and individuals to streamline processes, provide insights, and render assistance for users of all kinds. With these opportunities also come challenges, such as how to verify that the data going into - and coming out of - the AI is accurate and how to combat the emergence of deepfakes, or digitally-altered versions of images, video, or audio that misrepresent the subject - often for malicious reasons such as to impersonate individuals or spread false information. This panel will discuss how blockchain can be used as a tool for data verification and how it can be leveraged to combat the proliferation of deepfakes as the global conversation around AI continues to evolve alongside the rapidly-changing AI landscape.
