Karol Divín - 1962 World Figure Skating Championships FS

Such sad news that Karol Divín has passed way today at the age of 86. Karol was a two-time European champion in 1958 and 1959 as well as twice a world medalist. His best result came here before his home crowd in Prague where he came second to Don Jackson. He was eleven times the Czech National Champion and very much a mentor for the young Ondrej Nepela who were Olympic teammates in 1964.
