In this video tutorial, I replace the front coilover Rancho shocks on my 2014 GMC Sierra with a set of Bilstein 5100 series coilover shock absorbers. The process covered in this video will be the same on Chevy Silverados, Tahoe, Suburban, and many other vehicles. This video covers how to remove the existing front coil over shocks on a GMC Sierra. This video walks through the process of using a coil spring compressors to compress the heavy-duty coil springs. This video tutorial covers the process of removing the coil spring and all mounting hardware and installing it on the new Bilstein 5100 series replacement coil over shock absorber. Finally, this video covers how to install the newly assembled coilover shock on the front end of a 2014 GMC Sierra or 2014 Chevy Silverado.
