Croatia | Cycle Touring | Thorn Nomad MKII

In September 2019 I spent 3 weeks cycling in Croatia. Entering in Istria from Slovenia I made my way along the coast all the way to the southern tip of Istria. Most of the coastline is very touristy so wasn´t exactly my cup of tea but it was beautiful nonetheless. I ventured inland briefly in Istria and it was a different world, deserted, quiet - I loved it.
I then took the ferry to Cres island, Krk island, Rab and finally Pag, the country getting wilder the further south I went.
I then was back on the mainland, a brief visit in Zadar and then again I went back inland and again I was treated to some of the best riding I´ve had. No tourists out in the countryside.
And finally, the magical Split, before departing on a ferry to Ancona.
