1959 Dodge Late-Night Sketchiness and More Classic Tires!
Time to tidy up the 1959 Dodge Viscount and park it on the "lot" here at the CWMC used-car emporium! This rare Dodge Viscount is a one-year model for Canada, the equivalent of a Plymouth Fury. She is in poor condition after sitting outside for many years, but I think we can make her presentable enough to display in the yard here.
Also featured here is a somewhat ambiguous episode of "My Classic Tire" where we never actually quite managed to ascertain the make or model of the featured rubber... Once I realized it was a retread, it made sense why we couldn't read it.
Hubcap anoraks will have an easy time with this week's challenge... normal people maybe not so much, haha!
I patched up the front fenders where an old attempt at repair had fallen apart, and just wanted to dust-in the spots enough to make the car look less derelict. While we were at it, we put a few tires together for it so it would hold itself off the ground.
This Viscount is not really restorable, but it is still an interesting addition to the "lot" here at Coldwarmotors! The floor is long gone, and the engine is seized up, but I still think it needs to be preserved since there can't be very many left.
Thanks again to everyone who subscribed to our channel here; I appreciate all of the "likes" and comments, and try to answer as many as I can... Please subscribe so I can keep at it... I'll be doing a lot of fun projects this winter, but meanwhile there's this...
All the very best from me and Stella and little Francine (who wasn't born yet when we shot this little masterpiece...).
