Ultimate Oil Filter Buying Guide

In this video, I reveal the true maker of K&N Oil filters. I also explore STP filters and the truth behind AC Delco filters. Oil filters have different metal retainers which keep the shape of the filter media. The all give the strength that I believe, but a couple of the designs, I think reduce oil flow. STP filters are my pick at the moment, but as designs change, I'm going to review and change my mind as necessary. Fram oil filters are as expensive as STP oil filters but they don't have the best track record. That said, I read an article from a man who claims to have had a bias against them and that Fram has worked to improve the issues they had. An example problem would be under strength retention designs. Oil by passes which may have failed, either for never working, or not being strong enough allowing unfiltered oil under the wrong conditions. This last one, I have to rely on channels who break down oil filters, and other scientific testing. I'll have to explore more of these features later.
