Warning from Ukulele for Dummies: Don't buy a baritone ukulele!

People who are guitar players thinking about switching to ukulele are told not to buy a baritone ukulele. See Warning on page 228. I have included a picture of the warning at the end of this video.

This seems to me a bit over the top, high handed and ridiculous.

Here's my opinion:

If you are a frustrated guitar player who wants the guitar sound, baritone ukulele may be the perfect first ukulele for you. You will be able to use a good bit of what you have been learning playing the guitar ... but things will be much easier now with the smaller instrument, fewer strings, and easier chords to play. If you want something completely different than guitar, go with a soprano or concert. My guess is most guitar players who purchased baritone and soprano would spend most of their time playing the baritone.
