Using a ThinkCar ThinkDiag OBDII Tool with an Aston Martin DB9

Having a great OBDII tool is an essential part of any Aston Martin owners toolbox. There are many OBDII devices out there, but very few can work properly with all the computer modules in a modern Aston Martin. The ThinkCar ThinkDiag is one of those tools, and in this video I am going to do a deep dive on how well it works with my 2005 Aston Martin DB9 Coupe.

The ThinkDiag is a Bluetooth based tool that works with an app on your Smartphone. It can talk directly to all the modules in your Aston Martin and can view, research, save and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) that can turn on your check engine light. It can access real-time data from all the sensors. It also has features that no other OBDII tool I've used other than the official factory AMDS laptops. I am going to show you hands on how to use some of these functions, and share my opinions on it along the way.
