Well, next time you yawn, and your furry friend is beside you, check to see if he yawns or not. If he does, this could be another sign of the emotional bond you two share. An experiment conducted in the University of Tokyo revealed that dogs yawn after humans yawn but are much more likely to mirror a yawn when that human is their owner. This stems from the empathic relationship between you and your dog and it’s your dog saying that he understands your emotional needs.

4: Your Dog Stretches When He Sees You
