Ride DUBAI's Driver-less Metro World's Longest 52Km Single Line Metro

This Video covers a journey on the world's longest driver-less metro line service in Dubai. Before that some general information about Dubai metro. This metro line is also the first among the Arabian Peninsula courtiers. In second and third place are Egypt's Cairo metro and Iraq's Baghdad metro. The Dubai metro Red line opened for public on 10 September 2009. The Red Line that you see here is 52km long and has 29 stations. The green line is 23 km long and has 20 stations. The Red line runs parallel to the Dubai coast and the E11 highway. The Red line connects several tourist attractions such as Mall of the Emirates, The Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. Burj Kalifa is the tallest man made structure in the world. The green line, on the other hand, stays within the old Dubai area. It passes through many historical sites, such as the Dubai Museum, the Gold Souk, the Spice Souk among others.

So in total 75km of driverless fully automated metro system. Red Line trains run every 5 to 6 minutes off-peak (averaging 8.5 trains per hour), and 16 trains per hour during peak hours.
