Brussels Forum 2020 // A Conversation with Josep Borrell

As Europe seeks a more solid geopolitical footing, the Coronavirus pandemic has only compounded the more problematic dynamics. EU-U.S. relations remain strained, while Chinese diplomacy has grown more coercive. Meanwhile, Russia’s military adventurism continues unhindered. Moreover, internal tensions in the EU continue to grow. But what will be the ultimate impact of the present crisis on a geopolitical Europe?
