Chemotherapy is the worst thing I've experienced. There's no sugar coating it. I hope to spread awareness with this video. Ewings Sarcoma needs more attention so that treatment can improve.
MY CANCER STORY
I was diagnosed with stage 4 (metastatic) Ewing’s Sarcoma while pregnant in 2018, and I was only 27 years old. This short collection of videos is my personal story of surviving initial treatment, which I finished in April 2019. I describe my experience with prognosis, treatment, chemotherapy, and radiation, all while balancing a family.
ABOUT ME
Hello! I’m Sarah, 28-year-old mom to two babes, Atlas (2.5y) and Everest Rose (8m) and seriously happy wife to my man, Flint. In May 2018 I was diagnosed with metastatic (stage 4) sarcoma cancer in my last trimester of pregnancy with Everest. I’ve been through lots of chemotherapy and radiation and am finally in remission.
I began posting a few videos two years prior to my diagnosis, but didn’t take it seriously. After realizing I might not live to raise my kids, I’ve decided to start creating lots of videos, so they’ll have more of me to watch in the future. I have plans for a channel centered on minimalism.
