2018 Detroit Autorama 1947 "Root Beer" Cadillac built by Iannotta Hot Rods

Danny Agosta is at Detroit Autorama 2018 and spends a few minutes talking to Sal Iannotta of Iannotta's Hot Rods about this pristine custom 1947 Cadillac.

In his interview, Sal details the build saying it has a 454 with a Weiand super charger under the hood, custom welded quarters and skirts as well as a molded in running board to connect everything together. It also has air ride, a 4 link suspension, they sucked in the front bumper and removed the rear bumper altogether.

The interior is simple and clean but plush like a couch, as a Cadillac should be. There is a pin molded into the center of the steering wheel and its actually an original 47 Cadillac emblem that they got from the Cadillac dealership. This build is a true work of art.

All of the interior work that goes into a build like this has got to be protected with weatherstripping and they chose Steele. Sal said we had every single rubber part he needed for this car and that they all worked out great.
