MY BIGGEST DAY ON A BIKE YET AND JONO CRASHES 5 TIMES IN ONE RUN!! TransMadeira Day 3:4

Trans Madeira day 2 and 3 did not disappoint. We had crashes, bike mechanicals and tight mountain bike racing. Perfect recipe for the craziest mountain bike race ever. The rivalry with Jono Jones kept our legs alive, despite a huge hike-a-bike 1600m climb between stages, and tunnels through the mountains. The final stages were possibly the best MTB tracks in the world. Insane loam berms and drifty corners, roots and rocks with dirt jumps thrown in for good measure.

The biggest day on our bike of our lives and we are only half way through this amazing race. With no downhill racing on the cards for a while its so nice to get the legs moving and the heart beating with some racing again!

Madeira has been a favourite mountain destination for me for years now. I have filmed DEATHGRIP movie and multiple other edits here over the last 6 years. I love this place, its a mountain biking Meca in my opinion.

The EWS has nothing on this race bigger miles,l longer days and radder tracks. Would recommend to family and friend.
