LTV A-7E Corsair II (Serial No. 158819) Walkaround [Tillamook Air Museum]

During a visit to Tillamook Air Museum in Tillamook, Oregon 09072020. I recorded a video of the museum's Ling-Temco-Vought (LTV) A-7E Corsair II #401 (Serial No. 158819). This airframe served on the USS John F. Kennedy as part of Carrier Wing Three (CVW-3). She was assigned to VA-72 'Blue Hawks' and flown by CDR J.R "Shooter" Sanders who made 24 combat missions with her during Operation Desert Storm. [64 General Purpose Bombs, 105 Rockeyes, 10 HARMs & 3 Walleyes. She was the last of her type to be retired from the US Navy in May 1991, by 1993 the Air National Guard removed the last of the SLUFs from US service and by 1998.
Some time ago years perhaps, not certain as you can see in the video they tried to repaint the plane but it just looks like they tried to stamp it on but missed by several inches or put something completely different. Honestly she is a mess and I hope somebody can help her out. Lost the audio on the video during transfer and put a song over it instead (Lucy In The Sky by Elton John). I hope you all enjoy the presence of this basking shark of a plane as I have walking around her. And thank you J.R "Shooter" Sanders for your service!
