Ronda Rousey wins BRONZE at the Olympics (Beijing 2008)

As the world is tuning in to the TOKYO 2020 Olympic games, we take a look back at the former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey's performance at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. Playing for Team USA, Rousey became the first US-American woman to earn an Olympic medal in judo by winning bronze at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. Rousey lost the quarterfinal to the Dutch ex-world champion Edith Bosch but qualified for a bronze medal match through the repechage bracket. Rousey then defeated Annett Boehm in the bronze medal bout by Yuko.
