First, it goes without saying that everyone needs to watch Halt and Catch Fire immediately, prioritize a viewing of it asap and sit back and revel in a thoughtful and compelling look at community, ambition and love through the perspectives of visionaries and geniuses, flawed and human as they should be. It has quickly become one of my favorite shows and a large part of that is indeed owed to the relationships in it, primarily Joe and Cameron. Complex and fraught and angsty, they made me hold my breath during every one of their scenes. I love them and they annoy me and I want to shake them and I also want to hug them but ultimately I'm so happy that they have each other in their lives, to challenge each other and balance each of their energies and their passions.
