Autism Dad's Dreams Come True

This autism dad's dreams come true...more than once. I guess I should call them goals instead because dreams with a plan aren't just dreams they are goals. Independence is something we work towards everyday with Abigail. The goal of every parent with a severely autistic child should be as much independence as possible in the short time we have on this earth to make our child's life as good as we can even after we are gone. Sometimes we feel like we are racing a very fast moving clock and losing. Today I feel like we caught up a little bit. Oh yeah, we are also going to be guest lecturers for a Master's course at a Florida college to give the parent's perspective to future therapists and psychologists so that's pretty awesome too.
