There may be even worse news for the Indiana Fever than there was before. According to a story from Sports Injury Central, Caitlin Clark could be out for a long time because of her injury. Beth Mishler-Elmore of Athlon Sports shared this early Sunday morning.

This news comes in the middle of the first estimate that she would miss four games. Since Clark has already missed two games, Indiana has lost both of them. In general, the Fever have lost three games in a row.

Clark, who was named Rookie of the Year in 2024, was officially out for the season on May 26 with a quad injury. The former Iowa star had played four games and scored an average of 19 points per game at that point.

Not having her around is a big problem for the Fever and the WNBA as a whole. Fans are worried about reports that the healing time could be longer. One report said:
