Two delightful days in Egypt (but an abrupt and sad ending)

Apparently Egypt and Cairo has some world-famous landmarks? Who knew? I joke, of course. Pyramids, a Sphynx, the Nile, some papyrus-making, a trip under the Suez canal - there was lots to see. My colleague and I tried to get us much done (shooting for a different project). We even had a trip planned down to the Sinai - but that was all cut short when I received some heart-breaking news.
