Columbus review: a distant coming-of-age architectural essay film (with heart)
Columbus, starring John Cho, Haley Lu Richardson and Parker Posey, is the feature debut of video essayist Kogonada. Centering on the modern architecture mecca of Columbus, Indiana, this film follows a Korean-American man, Jin (John Cho) called to Columbus when his father, a visiting architect, falls ill. There he strikes up a friendship with Casey, a young woman in the town who's unsure of her future.
