Tbisioba 2019 | Tbilisi City Festival

We participated in the annual Tbilisi City Fest – Tbilisoba 2019. It was the first Tbilisoba for us; we visited four different locations and participated in many exciting activities.
Our first location was Leghvtakhevi scenic spot, with the open-air museum. The exhibition included unique items of traditional Georgian clothes hand made rugs and art installations. We chose this location to visit first because it is an exceptional part of the city. According to a legend, this is the location where kind Vakhtang the 5th decided to establish Tbilisi in 479 A.D.
Our next location, Rike Park, was full of fun activities, delicious food and wine. We had a taste of every Georgian child’s favourite candy – Mamalo, traditional Gergoan bread and some of the less conventional but still delicious food.
The third location, Metekhi Bridge, hosted an exhibition of rare cars and race vehicles. The show attracted a big audience; Children and parents enjoyed it the most.
The final fourth location was Orbeliani Square. This location had just recently opened and held different product exhibitions, concerts and pavilions.
We enjoyed our first Tbilisoba, and we will participate in future Tbilisi City Festivals as well.
