Quick video on what you need to do to set up the Verizon wireless router. Honestly not a bad router, but throwing this video out if you're interested in how to set up your awesome internet.
IF you want to set up the router with your phone or laptop WIRELESSLY, connect to the wifi network (Name + Password on the back of the router) and then go to myfiosgateway.com from that device

IF You cannot find that Black Box (its called the ONT) it might be outside the home in a grey box. It might even be an older White or Grey colored ONT with "Verizon" labelling. But if you STILL Can't find the ONT (or its outside the house and you don't feel comfortable running an Ethernet cable to it), call Verizon, get a tech out, they'll take care of it for you, don't stress out.

This router is included for FREE with a gigabit plan. IF you are getting charged for the router and want to save MONEY, search on eBay for the G1100 Verizon router, you're welcome. If you pay for Verizon TV service, you WILL Need their router to provide guide data and cable box activation/updates. Avoid the headaches but again if you want to save money, BUY The G1100 Verizon router from ebay!
