COVID-19 cancellation puts future of CNE at risk

The Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto is in dire financial straits after being forced to cancel this year’s event because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the provincial government is calling on Ottawa to save the CNE. Other major exhibitions, including the Calgary Stampede and Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver are also facing financial blows because of cancellations.
