So this is the last cover that I filmed at Drum Channel this time around. I've always really loved playing a wide variety of genres, and like to focus on different things in each song. Wether it's creativity, technicality, groove etc.. With this song by Switchfoot, I really love the feel- the pocket is so tight, the groove is simple, and the words captivate me. I didn't want to change anything about it. I had the most trouble getting through this song out of the 3. I was really tired at this point, and kept messing up. I've always done all of my videos in one take, and sometimes it takes for.EVER. haha Once we made it to the 2nd chorus of this take, I knew it was gonna be ok ha ;) So we took this one and rolled with it!
