Secret Hidden Desert Oasis Outside Vegas

Welcome to Wonderhussy Adventure #250

One of my friends claimed there's a side canyon in beautiful Red Rock Canyon park, just outside Las Vegas, that's supposedly very lush and tropical, with ferns and waterfalls, and even supposedly orchids -- if you hike up into the canyon far enough. So another friend and I set out to find out if this was true!
Many people don't realize that this gorgeous National Recreation Area is right outside Vegas -- only 20 miles from the western suburbs! Aside from gorgeous hikes, there is also a ton of world-class rock climbing.
I didn't mention the name of this particular side canyon in the video, but if you want to do this hike, it's pretty easy to figure it out based on other info in this video. But honestly, pretty much ANY of the hikes into side canyons up at Red Rock are amazing -- you really can't go wrong!
