How to Cool a Graphics Card SHORT VERSION - DIY GPU Cooling Modification costing almost nothing
This is a DIY modification to get my Graphic Card temperature down to reasonable level Using Thermal Pad and Heatsink block. It was a Trial & Error process that worked for me. This may also work for you. My graphic card is: Asus GeForce GTX 1660 Ti PHOENIX 6GB OC Graphics Card. Is it known for getting hot under heavy use. In normal use like basic word processing and video editing the temp of the GPU was about 55°c constant. As soon as my Game starts the temperature would raise up to 80°c in the game menu. During gaming it will fluctuate between 78°c to 83°c on the high end mostly. My experiment was successful in keeping the temperature down to about constant 72°c during gaming . This was a success for me. You will see the outcome at the end of the video. I hope this will help others.
