George Earl Preddy Jr was an incredible American fighter ace in World War II. He flew the P-51 Mustang, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-40 Warhawk in his career that involved a great deal of ups and downs, including a brutal mid air collision! Then, at the peak of his career, he would be killed in one of the most tragic friendly fire incidents in all of the second world war.
