The Lindemann Performing Arts Center at Brown University pushes the boundaries of innovation in performance space to inspire new forms of art-making and artistic collaboration.
With a radical, one-of-a-kind approach to spatial, acoustic and technical flexibility, The Lindemann’s Main Hall can be transformed into five primary configurations to accommodate radically different uses across a number of disciplines.
Unique manual and automated operations above and below the stage convert the state-of-the-art space into an immersive experimental media cube; recital hall; end-stage theater; concert hall for orchestra and choir, and a large flat floor for concerts and events.
More than an arts venue, The Lindemann offers new horizons for artistic exploration for Brown students and faculty, local community members and distinguished artists from around the world.
