• 68% of new builds comes with at lead one HOA
• Even resale homes are increasingly HOA-controlled

Why is this? It's because many communities built between 2020–2022 included shared roads, amenities, private landscaping, which cost money to maintain!

More BAD news ... the numbers are increasing:

• Median HOA fee in 2025: $135/month - Up from $108 in 2019
• Insurance, labor, and maintenance costs are pushing dues higher every year

Homes with HOAs tend to be larger, newer, and more expensive with a median price of $450,000 vs. $374,900 for non-HOA homes.
