17-year-old Bjorn Borg goes head-to-head with 30-year-old Arthur Ashe in Round 3 of the US Open 1973.

It is their first-ever meeting and after reaching the quarterfinals at Wimbledon two months earlier, the rising Swedish star will be hoping his run of form will continue on the grass courts in Forest Hills. US Open 1968 champion Ashe reached the final the year before and will be aiming to go a step further this time around.
