Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar condoled the demise of his close friend and
AICC secretary Suraj Hegde. He was also Karnataka government's Guarantee Committee vice-chairman Suraj Hegde. Suraj passed away on June 7. The 55-year-old died of cardiac arrest at M S Ramaiah hospital in Bengaluru late night. He is survived by his wife and two sons. Suraj Hegde was the grandson of former Karnataka CM D. Devaraj Urs.
