Rodent-Infested Post-War Radio - 1946 Philco Repair

In this video, we'll brave a mountain of lady bug carcasses, dust bunnies, and an ancient mouse nest in the speaker to restore this 1940s Philco Model 46-421. We will replace the power cord, all the caps, and 3 of the 7 tubes in pursuit of AM radio perfection. Also in the video is a look at an interesting Hytron Tube package from the 1930s or 1940s. Hytron was a Massachusetts tube manufacturer. I could not find a lot on the history of the company, so chime in and let me know what you know about Hytron in the comments!
