WWII Historical Sites - Iwo Jima Memorial. I was lucky enough to go to Iwo Jima and memorials one last time and stayed 9 days. I was able to take enough video to make a three part series. I would like to give a special thanks to Daniel Ladyman for sending me a few pictures of the Coast Guard area. Unfortunately it was closed and I couldn't get any shots of it today.

This year was the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima. Time heals wounds. Though the island is not ours there is still blood, sweat and tears that can be felt throughout the island.

Veterans of any War deserve our honor and respect. Thank you for all you have done and for your service.
