The Uwharrie National Forest is Best Seen By Bike!

I had the opportunity to check out the Uwharrie National Forest while I was visiting family in North Carolina. There really isn't much about biking there so I asked around on social media and was pointed towards the Uwharrie Gravel Grinder route on Ride with GPS.

I was a little short on time so I modified the route to be a 16 mile route. The Uwharrie National Forest is an incredible place to see via any mode of transportation. I saw trucks, jeeps, motorcycles, horseback, boats, but didn't see a single soul on a bike.

I'm hoping this will inspire more people to hop on their bikes and explore the beautiful Uwharrie National Forest!
