🎞️ Plot Summary:
A young man named Kesha returns to his hometown after a long absence. Waiting for him are his father and younger brother Tima. Kesha is 27 and has just finished serving time in prison. Now, he wants a quiet life — to find a job, save some money, and figure out what’s next.
Seventeen-year-old Tima has just finished school and dreams of entering university on a scholarship. Everything seems to be going as planned: Tima scores high on his entrance exams, and Kesha finds work at a gold mining cooperative.
But things quickly fall apart. Kesha is betrayed by his employers and left without work or a future. Seeking revenge, he steals gold and goes on the run — taking his younger brother with him.
