Container Ship Vlog #37 (Welding repair on deck)

Well in this video I am just bring you all along with me aas I had to do a repair on deck. The catwalks between container bays have these swinging deck sections that allow access to go under it to fan dampers etc...One of them rusted away making it unsafe so I repaired it by making a new metal tab to bolt it to replacing the one that was no longer good and it all needed to be welded in place and strong because it gets walked on.
