THE PARADOX OF CHOICE BY BARRY SCHWARTZ - ANIMATED BOOK SUMMARY
We think that the more choices we have the more happy we will be. Well in the book The Paradox of Choice the author Barry Schwartz explains that more choices can actually paralyze us and even reduce the happiness after we make a choice.
In this short video the paradox of choice animated book review I go over and explain the two different kinds of people: Maximizers and Satisficers and why you should try to be in both of those categories when appropriate. If you liked my paradox of choice book summary then I recommend that you get the actual book "the paradox of choice" and read it because no animated book review can substitute the whole book. Or even better you can listen to the paradox of choice audiobook.
For the few things that matter be the maximizer but generally if you want to be happier be the satisficer as much as possible.
