Addressing a gathering, Kavitha criticised Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan over his political remarks on Telangana.

She alleged that leaders from Andhra Pradesh were engaging in diversionary politics instead of focusing on issues in their own state.

Kavitha said the Constitution allows anyone to contest elections, but added that political leaders should also uphold moral responsibility.
