Mongol Rally 2017 Highlights - The Misdirections

Driving 10,800 miles through 22 countries over 7 and a half weeks. A crazy adventure from the UK to Mongolia, completely bonkers from start to finish!

Our car was a 1 litre 1995 Nissan Micra with just 54 horsepower. We repainted it with rollers and brushes, glued fur onto it and then bolted a 14 foot long golden kayak (that we bought off the internet for £5) to the roof! Apart from a homemade aluminium sump guard and some chicken wire in front of the radiator, the rest of the car was (mechanically) stock. (We added some better speakers and a La Cucaracha air horn too!) In the end we raised around £1600 for charity!

You'll probably notice that some of the film has what looks to be dirt on the lens, it's actually a chip on the lens of one of our action cameras! By the time we got to Mongolia neither were really working so we reverted to phone cameras!
