This 1960 documentary, narrated by actor Robert Montgomery, offers an overview of the holdings of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, from its artifacts from the ancient world (Egypt, Assyria, Persia, Greece, Rome) to Medieval art, including a side trip to the Cloisters in upper Manhattan, to Asian and Indian art, French Impressionists and early American painters, among many others.
